Mayoral Candidate, John Bencivengo, wants to talk with Hamilton Township residents

10/10/2007 -

(Hamilton, NJ)  John Bencivengo knows good conversation often generates great ideas.  That’s why the mayoral candidate invites Hamilton residents to join him in a conversation For a Better Hamilton on Monday, October 15, 2007.

Mr. Bencivengo will host the event from 6:30 pm - 9:30pm, at La Villa Ristorante, 2275 Kuser Road in Hamilton.  Interested residents are asked to call and reserve a place.  RSVPs will be taken at (609) 586-0198 or cashelms@hotmail.com.

Participants will be asked to arrive at La Villa no later than 6:50 pm in order to be seated.  The conversation portion of the event will begin promptly at 7pm.

Participants will discuss selected issues facing the Township in small groups, including Gangs/Violence, Taxes/Fiscal Management and Development.  Groups will then share their recommendations For A Better Hamilton with Mr. Bencivengo during the second part of the evening.

“There’s no denying the residents of Hamilton Township have some serious concerns.  People have shared their frustrations with me as I have campaigned at events and from door-to-door,” said Mr. Bencivengo.   “A night of conversation will allow still more residents to be heard; this time away from the campaign din.”

John Bencivengo, a life-long resident of the Township, believes the mayor works for all the people of Hamilton Township.

“As the next mayor, I want to be sure I begin my term with a plan in place,” said Mr. Bencivengo.  “The residents of Hamilton Township deserve an honest, transparent and diligent mayor,” he added.  “Those values and citizen input will begin to define my tenure.”
