Dear Fellow Hamiltonian,

      I hope that you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend and had an opportunity to read today's article in the Trenton Times in which Mayor Gilmore refused a 10-debate challenge by our mayoral candidate John Bencivengo.  If you haven't, here is the link: Trenton Times Article

      Eight years ago Glen Gilmore continuously stated how important debates were and how "unfortunate" it was that the people of Hamilton did not have an adequate opportunity "to see the two leading mayoral candidates debate the issues."  He attacked then-GOP mayoral candidate Pete Schroeder for "not willing to answer questions in public about the issues that Hamiltonians care about."  Gilmore then asked, "what is he afraid of?"

      Well, how Mayor Gilmore's opinion has changed!  What is Mayor Gilmore afraid of?  The people of Hamilton deserve to hear from the candidates running for Mayor about where they stand on the issues facing Hamilton.  John Bencivengo isn't afraid to debate.  Why is Mayor Gilmore?
